I remembered another excerpt of conversation I overheard between X (or BritishIndia Guy lol) and another person (W)

P 'Where is she from?'
she gestures to me

X 'She's from Singapore.. Why?'
he turns back a little, I pretend to be busy rearranging some stuff, I didn't even look in that direction! Hah

P 'Oh, I initially thought she was Malaysian
I don't know why. Malaysians and Singaporean Chinese girls have different looks?

X turns and look at me, then back again 'No, I don't think Malaysia has girls as pretty as her'

And the funny thing is that I didn't feel offended or anything. Felt strangely hot and bothered.
