In Baghdad on Monday, the Iraqi military said two civilians were killed and nine injured when U.S. and British planes attacked civilian facilities in Basra province. U.S. defense officials denied that any civilian target had been attacked.

This US attack on Iraq has really got mixed feelings from me. On one hand, I can understand if President Bush wants Iraq to remove their weapons of mass destruction. After 911, all of us are wary. On the other hand, who likes war?
I have friends in the US who actually had their sons deployed. Suddenly, the whole thing seems so much closer. Sure, it's between US and Iraqi, but only the ignorant can think that it does not affect the rest of the world.
When will it all end? How would this affect the rest of the world? And how long will the after effects of war last?
