OMG. Was on the train today and saw 3 different variants of what one could be in the 40s. It's scary. Am quite taken aback at how dishevelled one can be at the age of 40. Is quite freaky in style of Rosie Phua on Phua Chu Kang. Type 1 is the 'Ah Lian' kind of 40 year old woman. Scary. Her hair is more dyed than self's and she has on neon green paddle-pushes! God! Can you imagine? Type 2 and 3 are about the same - tired, dishevelled, makeup applied on in hope that winkles can't be shown but winkles still show anyhow.
Scaring self very badly. Where could one go to shop when in 40s? Is not possible to go to Mango or M)phosis or any remotely hip place to shop. Maybe will go to BritishIndia. Maybe will become rich and influential 40 plus women, like Marjorie Scardino�Cor closer to home, Claire Chiang (she's 51?! It can't be! She's gorgeous!). Well dressed too. Then will buy clothes from Chanel and whatnot.
