Still in dilemma over phone issue, no one online that I want to talk to (except for Moon, who turned out to be Douglas, and I said something like 'Sengkang sucks') and everyone getting attached and I still don't know what the heck I'm thinking of and why I can't get him out of my head.

Yesterday was a weird day

Went to school yesterday.

Got to clubroom. Wendy Liu was there, quite unfriendly (but then she's never v friendly to any of us), until she had a computer problem and I solved it for her in like 2 seconds.

Then I went to O week at LT 16. Looks damn nice now! Like LT 18, only newer. Heh. Sat for a while with Angeline and Wendy. Kind of bummed out cause there were very little people. Which is quite sad. I mean, if I were Don, I'd feel quite sad la. It wasn't very interesting either, just talks on CORS. The goodie bag had Qoo bubble apple green tea though. I love that drink, so Wen grabbed one goodie bag for me. Apparently there are lots more in the lounge! Yay! :D

Hm then went down to rag.

Damn the atmosphere's damn scary. Like super unfriendly and filled with tension? Like, Kelvin Ho was the only friendly one? But then he's always been nice to me so, ya. I sat with Kelvin and Zhengwei at the study bench area. And at first ZW was like no reaction, so I was talking to Kel only. Turns out that all of them were very tired and stressed. What 3 hrs of sleep and stuff. But in the end it was alright la, ZW, Kel and I gossiped. Heh. Apparently I was their source of new entertainment. *rolls eyes. Hahaha... I guess it must be pretty boring to see the same faces all the time? Damn, I just remembered I forgot to take the CD from ZW.

What next, oh, there was this unpleasant conversation with Weih. Screw it. I am really pissed off by that. I don't think he has the right to give me that kind of attitude. Like what's his problem? Ack I won't spoil a nice Sat morning talking about it.

Later Kel went away to help Steve, and Chuanhui came over and sat with me and ZW. I felt a little weird la, cause like raggers v non ragger. And I think I was a little bored also, so when Cher came down, I dragged her to eat lunch with me. Actually we sat at the top of the HSS stairs with Gerald cause he demanded to know what we are gossiping about haha.

Went to lunch with Cher and talked about some stuff we've recently er.. discovered. Rag and Jnh stuff. Realised Law guys are pretty cute (haha, I knew I missed my calling!) and other stuff.

Later went down to rag again to pass Chris some er... stuff. Haha... it's quite funny cause we had to be secretive. But he was very funny about it. Like smuggling goods or something. Hee.

Then I went to take a bus home (no I did not wait till 630 for that mystery cute jogger guy haha) and took a detour to IMM so eat at Secret Recipe. It's quite good, love the mocha latte. And the apple cheese cake. Then went to Minoshe (sp?) cause they have cute lingerie and they are having a sale so I just splurged. Ha.

Later went home.

For some reason yesterday felt weird.

Hm.

Later I'm off to work at SengKang (eek don't know the people there)

Then to pick up a phone or maybe just check the prices if I'm not too sure about the phones itself with Sam

I'm thinking so much of this I even dreamt about it. Missed phone calls. Passed messages.

When I woke up there was 2 missed calls and 2 messages.

On Monday went to school to do some ticketing stuff. Cher asked Chris and Joanna to help me. Initially I thought it'll be quite boring cause we didn't know each other. But in the end it was quite fun, chatting with Chris and Joanna. Oh also Chris helped me configure my wireless as well. HAha... So for the first time in a year, I connected to the wireless system in NUS! HAha... I am really so hopeless with computer stuff. Oh ya, Michelle and David also dropped by and David made us take photo with the tickets. Haha... quite funny.

K... this was a pretty duh entry. HAha. I'm just filling my time before I get to school.

 

I just returned from SMP camp and it was really fun! Previously I was at Tier 1 training at the NUS Guild House where coincidentally Phoebe and Angel were also at, so I hung out with them! :D Also got to know Emily, and was good to find someone who doesn't like camps as well... Haha.

I went alone to YWCA on the day of the camp itself, so it was quite unnerving to go into the room full of strangers, although I was looking for people I know from tier 1. And the great thing was that when I went in, Huiching called out to me! Haha... didn't know she was at the camp as well. And Emily was sitting with her as well! Haha. So we hung out a little.  

In the end we were split up to different groups so I was assigned to Bukit View with some other people (Melodyee, Angel, Christina, Wenyi, Jiahui, Daniel, Caleb, Weixiong and Zhengxiong) Quite surprised I didn't get Swiss Cottage. So I was initially a little sian. But later got to know them a little better and the activities started getting really fun! Lunch was at Fort Canning and we had to get our own ‘cash’. I think our group did really well. First team there and possibly the one with most cash. Haha.

What did we do later… Hm. Afternoon was workshops. Quite fun also. Our group went to Café Cartel to eat, much to the amusement of some of the other mentors. Heh.

At night we went to Fort Canning again to play some games. They had prizes for winning groups so our group was quite [i]kiasu[/i] about it. Haha… Minghui was our mentor coordinator person, and she was so great about helping us along! Our group came in first. Yay! It was really great cause we really set our heart to being the top 3 (there are prizes heh) and we got first. I don’t know… it gave our group a natural high I guess. Haha.

Later we er congregated in our room (I was roommates with Christina and Melodyee) and discussed the play thingy together. We had to do an advertisement for cat food using the emotion Enraged. It was pretty weird.

The next day, we had some morning dip thing in the pool. It’s damn cold! Haha… We played like 2 games then they told us the game’s over?! Then went for breakfast. :D

More classes, then in the afternoon we had this race thingy where we get a list of tasks to do around the CTE area. I love stuff like this! :D Die hard TAR fan I suppose heh.

Very fun. I loved it that when we went to Cine, we immediately saw 2 secondary school students, so we took the neo print. I loved it that we played the drums game perfectly at the PS arcade. I loved it that we are the first team to do the nail art at Amaze shopping mall. Above all, I loved it that we did a great job at the Citylink area (where those kids do breakdancing). Apparently it was such a good job it was the best they had seen. Haha.

We didn’t finish all the stations (we lacked one, where we couldn’t finish our task. But none of the other teams found it). But we were the first back on time and completed all except one of the stations. And we were the only group arrowed to do the Citylink dance thing?! Super embarrassing.. Haha.

Okay so night we did the performance. Cat food smells yucky and our performance was a little weird la but it’s quite funny all the same.. Haha. Some groups gave pretty funny performances.

Later at night we had the traditional river crossing game at Fort Canning again. It took us 4 hours but we finally brought everyone over to ‘Paradise’ and squeezed everyone in the box! It was truly a fun and memorable experience. I mean, at that point in time, we were probably bored and tired and grumpy, but now that I think of it, it’s experiences like this that makes it memorable.

And it really is memorable. I find it amazing that in such a short space of a couple of days, our group really bonded with each other. It’s great, like with Daer. I think we are even closer than the other groups! Haha. And I really clicked with Christina, cause we sort of share the same interests. :D She’s really great to hang out with and probably the closest galfriend in the group. And Jiahui was my senior at SAJC! :D She recognized me cause apparently I was quite ‘prominent’. I thought I was very quiet in JC.  Haha, we both love shopping so it’s great. And Mel I know from sec school, but we only got closer at this camp!  Mel, Jiahui, Angel, Caleb and I were from SA. It’s so cool :D

And the coolest thing is that we all live in the same area! :D:D So happy!

Can’t wait from mentoring to start!

Drunk

Lucky I didn't go to the party yesterday. Turns out everyone got damn drunk and everyone was smoking. I hate smoke smell in my hair so that would probably have killed me. And also I won't know half of the people there. Heh. Mostly TJ, I heard.

Also, I don't understand why you would want to get drunk. Why? So that you can feel like you are not in control and be a liability to everyone? So that you can do stupid stuff that you're going to wake up the next morning and say 'I did that?!'.

I have only got till 'feel giggly' and I was already holding back. (Semi high = 1 jug + 2 glasses + 1 tequila sunrise)

Da Vinci Code

Just finished reading it and also Dan Brown's earlier work Angels and Demons.
 
And  now I just read that Da Vinci Code may have been plagarised from Perdue's Da Vinci Legacy. This really makes me disappointed.
 
Got another book too. The curious incident of the dog in the night-time by Mark Haddon. Hope that's good.

Some updates

1) I have dyed my hair a shade of browny-bronze. It looks like the very first shade which I dyed my hair with. 120 bucks at Kimage. I also have slight bangs and shorter hair. :D
 
2) Have not been going down for rag lately, but went down on Thursday and er... found out something quite surprising. Haha
 
3) Had a JNH bbq at Cher's house last sat, where we met junior com. Quite fun, the main com stayed back at Cher's house to bitch a little. Haha.
 
4) Had dinner with Alicia, Michelle, Cher, Yanting and Gerald many eons ago at Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao at Paragon. As usual we bitched. Also, the Xiao long bao is fantastic. *love*
 
5) Am supposed to go with Cher to Ash's party at Dblo today, but I'm feeling a little under the weather. Haha. Cher says A's looking for me. I think she's just trying to drag me there to meet more people or something. Haha.

6) Shopping like mad. In the past week, I've bought 2 Zara skirts and 3 Zara tops and a toga from Mango. Broke.

Seems like all my entries lately have been around the same. Hm.

 

Anyhow, I went to some M18 party last Thursday with Moon, Key, Cher and Lesley. (Moon's sister and friend). It started off a little rocky cause K and L didn't bring the correct identification/didn't bring identification so the bouncer didn't allow us in. So I asked to talk to the organiser... I wasn't about to waste money on the tix! Haha... Anyhow, this guy came out to er.. negotiate for us and in the end the bouncer allowed us in without checking identification. Hoho. I think it's partially because K and L are quite pretty la. Haha.

 

It was pretty empty for a bash at Chinablack at 11pm. We grabbed some drink and hung out in front of the bar. It was quite funny cause Key was talking about dares and stuff and she actually went to do the dare. Heh. Also, this guy wanted to buy Lesley a drink, and we were saying he had to buy us a jug (for all of us... heh) and he did! Haha...

 

Oh ya, saw Weizheng there too.

 

Actually realise that when clubbing with them, we got quite a lot of attention and drinks... haha. The bouncer gave K his number on a napkin, which M proceed to use to wipe the table... haha. K was saying that next time we can go clubbing together and get free drinks from the bartender. Hee.

 

Oh ya, also Moon dragged us up to the platform top to dance. Haha... It's the first time I've danced in a raised platform! Haha. It wasn't any different, I think. When you dance, you just dance la, not much diff if it's on the dance floor or the bartop. Haha.

 

Oh ya, I should really stop giving out numbers. :\

Some clubbing updates

Rag Bash @ SOS

Last Saturday (030704). I actually felt a little lost before I went there. I didn’t really know who to hang out with. Cher’s gonna be there at 1 cause she had work, FOC side nothing’s being planned, most of the people I normally hang out with is on the committee itself so it’s really quite strange. Also, Moon couldn’t come. In the end I came with Larry, Weiyang and our freshie guys. :D Which I can’t complain about.

Anyhow, it doesn’t matter, once you get there, you hang out with just about everyone… haha. It was quite funny, for a while I walked around with Edmund, then went to eat supper with Weih, Edmund and Gabriel (I think), when we are joined by YY, Delvin, Kevin and Lawrence.

Later went back at about 12 plus… joined the people at SOS instead of Shanghai Sally (which I prefer cause of the hiphop music). Most of the seniors were at SOS though. Very fun and I saw a lot of people I haven’t seen since the last school semester ended.

When Cher came back, she bought Weis’ cake and we celebrated his bday for him at SOS. I love her café’s choc cheesecake. Simply delish.

Uh, okay that’s a little too close

Anyhow, I later went over to Shanghai Sally with Cher and her friend from JC. Some of his other friends joined us and we started dancing together. Anyhow, this other guy was dancing with me, and er… we kind of dirty danced. And I was actually quite uncomfortable that he was touching me so much. Like, I’m alright with butt touching but er… well, his hand were kind of roving. So I had to keep pushing him slightly away.

Anyhow, it was pretty strange. I think I danced with him like that just to show someone. I don’t think that someone cared. I wish he did.

I just… well I just don’t feel like talking about this anymore.

Indochine and Phuture

This is what happens when you don’t update regularly.

Anyhow, I went out with Cher and her NTU friends Shufen and Jeremy and some others to Indochine and Phuture a couple of weeks ago. We got into Indochine (despite the age limit thingy) but one of the guys was blocked to we went somewhere else. Aquadisiac, I think… anyway, another part of Indochine. Got the free drink and hung out for a while.

Later one of her friend’s sisters drove us to Zouk. Quite packed and saw lots of SA and Bizad people. Phuture was damn crowded as usual, but I prefer it to Zouk. Better music and cuter guys, to be honest. There was this guy who nearly hit into me, then tapped me on the shoulder like 5 minutes later to apologise. Then stood behind us… er, yeah, quite weird. Hung out until Mum called me at about 230 and told me she’s going to pick up to go home. Dad was plenty pissed cause I said I would be back early, as I needed to work the next day.

Daer updates

OG Anniversary

Had our Daer anniversary celebration at Marche. Damn the sambal stingray there is delish! :p Anyhow, it was really fun, and it’s been some time since the og was together – Me, Val, Cher, Larry, Weih, Weis, Peiling, Adeline, Mingyao. We stayed till Marche was closing… Hee.

I didn’t know Godsend was a creepy movie

Went to watch Godsend with the crew. It was quite funny cause I was on the bus when Val called and asked me if I wanted to watch Godsend or Around the World, and I had just seen a trailer for Godsend a couple of minutes before so I said I’d rather watch that – I didn’t really have anything for Jacky Chan movies.

And the funniest thing happened! Apparently, instead of the 930 timeslot, the lady gave Val the 730 one. And when we went in at 930 (the guy actually let us in), we found our seats taken, checked out why, and the cinema was filling up first. So what did we do? Nonchalantly strolled to the front row and sat there… We were damn worried it was a full house or something, so we prayed that no one bought front row tickets. The cinema slowly filled up… and then they stopped at the second row. :D So we are safe, so to speak. The movie started off not too bad, but ended quite badly, I thought.

FOC!

FOC was super fun! Had lots of responsibilities (organising campus hunt, pool games and sentosa games with Wendy and helping out at the slide as well so I didn’t get to play main comm. attach to my OG much, also I couldn’t play SP also. :) Still. This year’s a weird year in that there are more male campers than females! So female seniors had to play SP.

Day 0 - We moved in into KR one day earlier so that we can settle stuff first. Lucky Wendy drove me… I had so much stuff! Haha… and she had even more. Gosh. Basically didn’t do much on day 0. I just settle more of my campus hunt things and prayed for good weather tomorrow, cause my wet weather plan for campus hunt is crap. It’s really hard to plan for CH wet weather. Also packed goodie bags. At night a couple of us went over to Wendy’s room to gossip. Haha… Yap Kaweng Chuanhui and Yonghui and Angeline.

Day 1 - Lucky Campus Hunt and Pool games went relatively well, except for a slight glitch at Pool games, which resulted in me and Kelvin frantically driving Wend's car back to HSS so that we can get candles. Haha… And Steve once again pissing some one off (me). Generally the whole thing went well so I’m damn relieved! :) At night, I helped Yap with Slide. Damn fun! :) For the first 4 Ogs, I was station at the bottom of the slide with Steve, ZW and Delvin, so basically my job is to see if anyone has injuries after they come down of the slide. It was really funny to see people come down the slide and some of them splashed loads of water as they came down. Del and ZW were at one point quite drenched… Haha. Later I changed jobs with Wendy, so I was stationed upstairs with Irza, leading the campers to the slide. (They were blindfolded) We kept making up strange scenarios like saying ‘Can you swim? Erm… well just tread water… It’s only 4 metres. Yeah well, don’t worry now, since you are here already, may as well do it right? Oh yeah, if no one comes to rescue you after 5 minutes, shout out loud, okay?’ Haha… it’s really funny, and at one point, we were leading this guy who was really quite irritating, and he said something quite shitty la. So Irza was like ‘Damn, she died man’ *laugh out loud* It was so funny, the way he said it! Haha… Later in the night, I went to met Cher and my OG for supper at FongSeng, but since Wendy was driving, I ended up going with her, Edmund, ZW, Weih and Yap to supper instead.

Day 2 - Sentosa! Super fun! I got to wear my new Nike cap :) (which I’m not so sure if I will wear again… I am not usually a cap wearer) Anyway, it was really fun, the weather was good, and we had loads of laughter with the Bikini Babe game. Let’s just say I’d never ever be able to look at Steve and Weis in the same way again… *coughpassionofthemeatballscough* The whole game is fricking porn, lol. I was supposed to be roving and checking on the different stations, but I spent almost all of my time at that station with Edmund ZW Yonghui and Adel. In the end, almost the entire committee came and looked at Weis and Steve’s performance… haha. It’s damn gross, you will be sickly fascinated by it cause it’s so gross. Haha… we also had our ‘laughing circle’, where some of us gather and say stupid jokes and laugh our butts off. Especially the one with Gerald and the chair. Hee. Later at night we had SP meeting. Me and Val went to look for Cher and seriously her SP was really quite bad. Hm… won’t say too much about it but at one point in time there were about 10 of us surrounding them and watching him sing (he was blindfolded).

Day 3 - IFG and SP night! :) Biz played IFG against Engine and Science. We won! :D:D We won almost everything, and the only one we didn’t’ win was void, cause of game deficiencies. The Engine chair was awfully nice about it too. Great games, and it was the first time Bizad had won in a long time… Haha. Later we had Mass Dance. Supposed to dance with Weiyang, but Adeline didn’t have a partner so I asked him to dance with her and I went to the back to hang out with Kevin and a few other people. Urm.. later we had the SP pick up. It was so fun! I went around several rooms and looked at how they ‘tekan’ the guys. Hoho… I didn’t get to the HSS room, which supposedly is the best room. I went over the the clubroom, SR14 and LT 19… and LT 19 was damn funny too. Later we went to SP night at Europa. Quite fun, several people got drunk. Drank this thing called Slippery Nipple haha… tastes like banana, then later someone told me it smells like toothpaste. Gerald got super high, and he was pole dancing! Haha… Overall it was a pretty good night, albeit the drunk people. Oh yeah. Later we had initiation. Had to practice cheer fight 5-6 times, which may sound bad considering it takes place at about 3 at night. But they said in the past, they practiced it more than 10 times! So we went for the run, and me and Huiying ran at the back cause we are so bad at it… haha. The initiation was good, Kevin’s speech damn weird, and we slept, like at 5 in the morn.

Day 4 - Performance. Time to sit back and relax. Surprisingly, after I tallied up the scores, Nitrar won both campus hunt/pool games and Sentosa! We weren’t a very spontaneous OG but we are certainly very good at games. In the end, we only gave Nitrar Campus hunt (though Sentosa we won by a lot! :D). Almost everyone won something and all was good. Wendy drove me back (thank goodness as I am so damn tired). :)
